Job Title: Program Manager (C16)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Program Manager for a bid proposal in Chicago, IL

The Program Manager is responsible for-profit loss accountability and management of a multiyear consolidated facilities management services contract in Chicago. The portfolio consists of management of sixteen (16) separate federal facilities totaling more than 3 million gross square feet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: General duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to:

    • Responsible for-profit loss accountability and management of a multiyear consolidated facilities management services contract in Chicago. The portfolio consists of management of sixteen (16) separate federal facilities totaling more than 3 million gross square feet.
    • Responsibilities include but are not limited to responsibility for fire and life safety, HVAC, building automation, electrical distribution, domestic water, plumbing, sewage and drainage, elevator and vertical transportation, locks and keycards, and architectural / structural systems, landscape and irrigation, kitchen equipment, and emergency power generators.
    • Responsible for executing an effective Preventive / Predictive Maintenance Program. In addition, must be able to review, scope and execute facility maintenance and repairs as well as understand, estimate, and execute on demand minor construction and renovation projects.
    • Ensures equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with technical specifications and all work is clearly documented within the work / asset management system (CMMS).
    • Meets with Customer, Facility Managers, and other Representatives to reconcile requirements and work status. Individual is the primary representative for the company during meetings with the customer(s) regarding facilities issues.
    • Coordinates with Site Quality Control to ensure all work is in compliance with technical specifications.
    • Champions site-wide safety program and strives to maintain an accident-free environment while continuously promoting quality and customer service
    • Reviews departmental operational procedures and processes and implements changes as required streamlining operations, improving productivity, and ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
    • Responsible for maintaining a good working environment. This includes conflict resolution, conducting personnel performance evaluations, and documenting resource needs.
    Qualifications:
    • Experience managing Federal Government Contracts is highly desired
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Facilities Management. Experience must be current, at least 5 years' experience within the last 7 years.
    • Experience managing facilities of a minimum size of 1 million square feet.
    • Strong understating of HVAC and mechanical systems is desired.
    • Understanding of concepts and practical experience with Planning, Scheduling, Estimating, Preventive Maintenance program development, Predictive Technologies, and familiarity with utilizing maintenance management systems.
    • Experience managing a large, dispersed workforce
    • Must possess excellent leadership, oral, written and customer service skills
