Position Summary
DESCRIPTION:
The Program Director - Doctorate of Education will lead the College's Doctorate of Education Program including; develop all program policies, supervise the development of the doctoral curriculum, review applications, advise students, and engage in all necessary aspects of student recruitment and enrollment. The position also carries an expectation of securing the necessary approvals to award the Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility as a track within the doctoral curriculum.
This position will include an annual 6-credit (2 course) instruction load. These courses may be taught in the fall, spring, or summer term and at either the masters or doctoral level. No overload teaching is permitted for the occupant of this position.
The position is expected to work no more than 28 hours/week, which includes their teaching load.
OUTCOMES:
The position will allow the college to better serve adult learners and develop the infrastructure to support as we reach new audiences through marketing, student word-of-mouth, and new partner development.
