Position Title:

Professional Early Childhood Tutor

Position Summary:

Provide support to all students enrolled in early childhood degrees/credential programs.

Reporting Relationship:

Program Coordinator-Early Childhood Education, Dean of CTE

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to students in subject matter via group and/or individual tutoring.
2. Host workshops on scheduled topics.
3. Contribute to a friendly and productive learning environment.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in discipline.
2. Two years' teaching or tutoring experience.
3. Effective interpersonal communication skills.
4. Ability to relate to a diverse student body.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master's Degree in Discipline.
2. Three to five years of teaching experience.

Anticipated Work Hours and Days:

Part time, Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Salary:

$25/hr.
