FECON, LLC is a vegetation management equipment manufacturer located in Lebanon, Ohio near Kings Island Amusement Park. Job Summary:

The Production Supervisors is responsible for overseeing the production schedule and managing the personnel within the department.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Manages assigned personnel, participates in the hiring process, trains new employees, delegates overtime, tracks and approves hours and vacation/absences.
  • Conducts performance reviews and handles disciplinary action, as needed.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Manages product flow to increase production capacity and sales, maximize process efficiency through root cause analysis and corrective action implementations to increase company profitability.
  • Oversees the department personnel to ensure corporate policy compliance to increase productivity and ensure a safe workplace to reduce workplace injuries.
  • Interfaces with other departments to ensure timely and accurate receipt of materials for continuous production flow and ensure that the Company's standard operating procedures and quality control checks are followed.
  • Conducts root cause analysis for quality issues and implements process corrective actions to eliminate the root cause and compiles data for Kaizan projects to improve production efficiency.
  • Leads and implements special projects to improve production, including 5S to ensure an orderly and organized workplace.
  • Tracks part inventories in the ERP system to identify part shortages and to expedite part deliveries, when necessary, to minimize down time.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Comfortable being on a shop floor and being visible.
  • Computer programs including MS Office, SyteLine ERP, Factory Track.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Education and Experience:
  • Five or more years in plant management/operations
  • BS degree in Engineering field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in scheduling, production and workflow.
  • Strong experience with BOM's and routing.
  • Experience managing in a fast paced, changing and expanding environment.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk around work area often throughout the day.
  • Ability to sit at a compute some of the day to enter data.
