POSITION PROFILE
The position of Production Solutions Marketing Manager is the technical lead for both pre- and post-sales implementation demonstrations and support for Ricoh's production portfolio in the Customer Experience Center showcase. The PSM Mgr. is an expert level position which requires deep expertise and knowledge around integrated hardware, software, and services solutions in the production print space. This key member of the CEC team is expected to act as a customer's trusted advisor throughout the pre-sales cycle and provide post-sale support as an extension of a field SE in cases of customer satisfaction with implemented solutions.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain communication channels between Ricoh Production and Ricoh field sales team. A vital component to this is an active relationship with the Ricoh Channel and Field Marketing Managers, CIP Marketing Managers, Ricoh Field Management, Ricoh Production Sales Managers and the Ricoh Production Regional Vice President of Production Sales.
• Achieves and maintains subject matter expert status on production portfolio enablement as well as targeted skill level in color management, standalone software implementation, and device workflow integration
• Support strategic field activities by attending and speaking at open-houses, seminars, tradeshows and Ricoh technology showcase events as an SME.
• Provide feedback to Ricoh Production marketing regarding issues, opportunities, and/or problems at the granular development level.
• Spend time traveling in the field supporting sales opportunities / sales calls as a growth engine for marketplace understanding and support of marketing value propositions across the production portfolio.
• Responsible for supporting sales, technical, and business skill development through certifications and trainings offered both internally and externally to provide up to date support to SE and Sales during strategic CEC engagement on POCs and demos in pre- and post-sales engagements.
• Drive initiatives and maintains knowledge around detailed marketing strategies and plans that will support achieving the overall sales goals and targets for the sales organization, with support from field event coordinators as needed leverage products, solutions, and professional services to position Ricoh in the production space.
• Develop and maintain tight integration with Solution Engineers out of the production portfolio to enhance demonstration and POC production capabilities in daily CEC activity execution goals.
• Production solutions defined as Ricoh Pro products, Ricoh Inkjet Portfolio, Ricoh Wide Format Products, Total Flow Partner Solutions, Third party products as necessary to support the market (Kodak, Epson, and various finishing partners).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

• Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science / information technology or equivalent from a four year college or university with relevant professional experience or equivalent field experience.
• Minimum of 5+ years in a marketing or sales role is required.
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in product and solution sale with customer implementation is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and solutions is required.
• Strong face to face customer experience with demonstrated relationship skills while interfacing with technical level material transfer.
• Must have Fiery Professional Certification, G7 Certification, and CMP Certification or equivalent field experience.
• Ability to utilize standard software Microsoft office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as PM experience using MS suite.
