Primary Purpose:

Perform tasks related to the issuance and maintenance of Lender Placed, Tenant Liability, Private/Excess, and other insurance master policies. Manage system implementations and maintenance including client and product set up, and ongoing administration, including system rejects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

• Prepare master policy forms for new lender-placed/other clients
• Issue master policies as requested by lender-placed/other clients
• Issue master policy endorsements as requested by lender-placed/other clients, or in compliance to changes in state regulations
• Process master policy cancellations
• Maintain master policy database and claims policy database with new and updated master policies
• Prepare IT tickets for system changes for new lenders or updates, including product or rate changes
• Provide quality control assurance and peer review to work product produced by others
• Maintain all hard copy master policy files, and soft copies in department shared drive
• Maintain record of approval of state filings (forms and rates) applicable to the lender placed business
• Create Forms Checklists for all products based on filing approvals
• Provide copies of master policies as requested by Claims or Legal departments for litigation
• Respond to client (lender or agent) inquiries regarding master policies; provide copies of master policies or endorsements
• Assist in responding to requests from various auditors (internal, external, or market conduct examinations) by providing copies of system screen prints, notices of insurance, master policies
• Perform and support surplus lines tax reporting and remittance
• Perform agent underwriting and support to manager

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 5+ years of relevant work experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Adept at Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Professional
• General knowledge of insurance policies, products and concepts
• Must be detail oriented and well organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor Degree in Risk Management or Finance
• 2+ years in Lender Placed Insurance, preferably in the product administration area
• In Depth knowledge of Adobe Professional
• Knowledge of insurance policies and forms
• Knowledge of company systems
