Immediate need for a talented Product Owner with experience in the Airline Industry.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Launch a centralized Client Field Support Project Development Office responsible for intake, prioritization, and approval of over 250 annual projects across three teams.

  • Design, architect and lead the development of project scope and objectives.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to apply established processes and create new analytical processes on diverse datasets to deduce insights.

  • Define, design, and develop processes for a web-based project intake process.

  • Streamline project prioritization and impact assessment tools for all submitted projects.

  • Consult with divisional leaders, employees from all levels of the organization, PMO, change management COE, Finance, and IT to deliver seamless support to project teams.

  • Based on direction from the Field Support organization, lead the development of tactical plans and supporting project management methods and standards.

  • Develop consistency in practices, policy development, and processes for project management governance including the development of reporting dashboards for project status tracking.

  • Ensure all projects are aligned with Airport Customer Services and Client goals and objectives.

  • Support and guide project teams in developing a project charter, project team roles and responsibilities, and project plan.

  • Develop and validate tracking & reporting systems for Field Support projects with clear alignment on how each project supports the Client Scorecard and KPIs.

  • Working closely with the Change Management COE, Client Learning, and HR Learning to develop and deliver project management and change management training focused on streamlined PM methodologies and consistent templates for each project.

  • Create project management tools to be used by the project development teams.

  • Lead quarterly prioritization exercise for all submitted projects with VP, Field Support.

  • Finalize and publish project closeout report for leadership review.

  • Proactively consult, coach, and educate employees and leaders on policies and guidelines, enabling decision-making processes that foster a fair and equitable project review and approval.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • The successful candidate will be proactive and will have outstanding listening skills, proven consultative skills, and the ability to handle information with sensitivity and confidentiality.

  • At least 5 years of project management and data analytics functional experience.

  • At least 2 years of experience with leading a technical/analytical team.

  • 5 or more years of project development, change management, business insights, and data management experience.

  • Project management and development experience.

  • High level of planning and organization.

  • Advanced skills in communications, especially the ability to present to senior leadership.

  • People management.

  • High proficiency in building web-based tools including working knowledge of Power BI.

  • Expert in project methodology and governance development.

  • Demonstrated partnership development and influencing others without direct authority, with particular sensitivity to geographical and cultural differences.

  • Consistent demonstration of ownership and accountability (driven to "do the right thing").

  • Ability to thrive in a complex organization and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented, intense environment.

  • Ability to remain tactful, calm, and persuasive in controversial and/or confrontational situations.

  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

  • Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.

  • Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire to be considered for a U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Client, Inc.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field is highly preferred.
