Position Summary

  • Develops and executes product strategy for OEM and Aftermarket including sales, marketing, and business development functions to achieve the highest customer service, market share and profit objectives. Position is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategies, sales targets and achieving ever increasing levels of customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee commitment. The position requires operating on the basis of mutual trust and respect and creating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Reporting to this position will be Associate Product Managers, Product Specialists and Customer Service

Key Position Responsibilities:
  • Primarily responsibility to develop product strategy, 5 Yr forecast and RAIL
  • Executes product strategy to acquire new business by coordinating with RBC Sales team, following up with weekly/bi-weekly meetings.
  • Regularly meets with core and potential customers onsite and our facility to increase sales, communicate technical capabilities and build customer relationships.
  • Responsible for customer pricing, proposals and terms
  • Responsible for regular margin review
  • Leads new product introduction and resolving customer issues.
  • Manage and train inside sales team.
  • Create marketing materials & documents to support RBC Sales team.
  • Leads customer contract negotiations.
  • Performs analysis of customer and market data.
  • Manage the creation and execution of annual and quarterly sales and bookings budget.
  • Lead SIOP and continuous improvement processes.

Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in related field and 3 years’ experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and minimum 5 years’ experience OR
  • Associate degree in related field plus 7 years of experience OR
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of related technical functions, Engineering, Business Development, Manufacturing, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience leading and developing a high performing team.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints
  • Experience in growing accounts and product lines. Direct experience capturing new business in the market and knowledge of customer’s acquisition processes/practices.
  • Experience in developing and delivering on new business including strategy development, cost/price targets, competitive assessment
  • Ability to assess and understand customer technical requirements, as well as understanding and providing value added alternatives to customer solution.
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • MBA or equivalent experience
  • Travel required: + 50%
