*This position can be home based but must be able to work East Coast hours.

The Product Manager II will own a product(s) or product feature(s) and lead project execution for a wide array of Government vertical markets. This person will immediately become part of a fast-paced, highly collaborative team environment that supports the development of innovative and creative product solutions. The individual will own the development/implementation process for assigned product and features throughout the product lifecycle; these can be in either an agile environment or more traditional development process, depending on the project. The individual will have a solid understanding of the customer and target market, while occasionally communicating directly with customers. They will represent the needs of these customer to the delivery team, while also collaborating with associates across multiple departments to ensure the successful design, development, and execution of their assigned projects. Further, they will hold additional responsibility for customer data research and public record verification, as needed, to support new and ongoing business engagements.

Responsibilities

Go to Market & Product Marketing Lifecycle:

• Executes on go to market launch plans as required.

• Works directly with internal business partners, e.g. sales to gather and assess product needs in the marketplace.

• Contributes to building collateral and marketing materials and provides input and expertise.

• Directly addresses customer concerns and feedback.

Product Delivery & Development Lifecycle:

• Leads the execution of a product roadmap for each assigned project.

• Writes clear, concise User Stories and/or Business Requirements & all related Product Documentation, as required. Presentsto various depts., and educates all business units on new products & features prior to release.

• Leverages tools to coordinate activities and ensure quality based on the development methodology in place.

• Defines and prioritizes requirement changes for engineering and performs analysis to meet acceptance criteria.

• Participates and contributes to process improvement activities.

Solves Problems and Analyzes Issues:

• Engage in validation and verification of public record information, as required, in support of customer engagements

• Performs targeted data research in support of customer-based projects

• Is able to ask effective questions and collect facts from multiple sources in order to solve problems.

• Is able to effectively identify and analyze problems and propose solutions.

• Effectively manages day-to-day issues and problems without intervention.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

• Develops co-operative working relationships within the team.

• Considers how own style affects others and tailors interactions accordingly.

• Looks for ways to develop mutually beneficial relationships across teams.

Experience and Education:

  • 4+ years of Product Management experience required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Agile development is a plus
  • Experience in Government or Law Enforcement industries and/or public records is also plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to work with others to modify or maintain a product and identify Technology challenges.
  • Demonstrated readiness to engage in customer engagements.
  • Demonstrated readiness to engage in work under minimal supervision.
