Our client, a video game company, is seeking a Producer for a project. We are looking for candidates with the following skill set and experience to fill the role. 

Responsibilities:


Ensure team’s work matches overall Project priorities and goals
Strategic work alignment & prioritization
Act as liaison between the team, internal customers, and stakeholders with support from Production Management
Align team, and be able to articulate how outputs ladder up to strategy and product vision as prioritized by project leadership
Create team product roadmap that demonstrates the value being delivered (to players or other customers)
Create and Prioritize team backlog
Lead product discovery incorporating cross discipline perspectives (such as design, art, and engineering)
Able to communicate and get stakeholder buy-in on the “why” behind the team’s work
Player resonance
Clearly define the audience for the team’s work
Provide critical product feedback and insight to the team and leadership
Be the advocate for team’s game and business decisions
Champion a player focused mindset and be the voice of the player
Actively review and engage with players via popular channels (forums, events, etc).
Deeply understand the pulse of our players.
Responsible for communicating team staffing needs
Knowledgeable of team workflows to inform staffing needs, estimates, and risks
Responsible for understanding total required scope for team’s efforts
Work with Project Leads to meet staffing needs
Ensures strong team health, culture, and efficiency
Team work systems are efficient and adopted by everyone on the team
Monitors team morale, ensures team has safe and supportive environment where they can succeed.
Celebrates successes, makes sure team-building happens regularly
Resolves team problems quickly


Experience: 


5-7 years experience in a similar role in-house or digital agency specific to maintaining game development content pipelines
Exposure to environment art, or characters is ideal
Familiarity with supporting artists working in Zbrush and Maya
Experienced in web, product, UI/UX design projects
Experience with project management software such as Jira, Favro, Smartsheet
Strong written and verbal communication skills
