Position Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of Supply Chain product/equipment/purchase service contract and sourcing support within the LUHS environment. In collaboration with CHE-Trinity Health Shared Procurement Services, manages daily procurement operations through preparation, submission, tracking, and implementation of purchase orders. Assists in contract compliance by analyzing GPO, CHE-Trinity Health and local contracts for standardization, utilization, and cost savings opportunities with key stakeholders. Assists in reviewing, selecting, and managing supply chain vendors. Reviews pricing to ensure terms and conditions of established contracts are maintained. Verifies complete documentation of orders and resolves procurement-related issues. Partners with Medical Economics team to identify opportunities for contract compliance, product conversions, and utilization initiatives.

Position Requirements:
Minimum Education: Required: Bachelors Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Minimum Experience: Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience

Position Responsibilities:
SOURCING: Participates in sourcing functions as appropriate under the direction of CHE-Trinity Health Shared Procurement Services and LUHS Supply Chain management. PROCUREMENT: Regularly reviews and evaluates cost and quality of goods and services with vendors and customers. PURCHASE ORDERS: Support LUHS requesters with Shared Procurement Services requisition process. CONTRACT SUPPORT: Assists in compliance to applicable local, CHE-Trinity Health and GPO contracts as identified by Shared Procurement Services and LUHS. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Supports process improvement initiatives. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Develop and maintain credible and professional relationships with assigned department leadership, staff, and Home Office Shared Procurement Services. VENDOR RELATIONS: Build and maintain regular contact with appropriate vendor representatives to remain current on new products/services/equipment. COMMUNICATION: Provides effective communication to management, coworkers and vendors to establish collaborative communication, especially as related to activity status of supply chain accounts.
