What you'll do:

• Determines the appropriate inventory quantities required to meet operational demand. Plans and orders the necessary amount of materials to be used in processing to facilitate continuous, even production across all assigned departments. Releases orders, expedites, or modifies material requisitions as needed.
• Develops weekly schedules for all Pad warehouse stock levels and SKUs. Schedules all Pad shipments to warehouses.
• Monitor and adjust schedules daily to ensure order fulfillment. Work with each analyst to ensure all stock loads meet weekly scheduling demands.
• Coordinates manufacturing orders requiring processing or finishing by another facility, by utilizing facilities with available capacity and organizing the movement of materials with the goals of maximizing output and customer service levels.
• Collaborates with internal manufacturing team on schedule priorities and communicates on any deviation(s).
• Work with and assist other inventory planners to adjust inventory levels on a weekly basis to meet customer requirements.
• Address all obstacles that prevent customer fulfillment in a timely manner.
• Responsible for working with other inventory planners to ensure compliance with inventory backorder as well as overstock prevention strategies.
• Ensure Safety Stock for each warehouse is in compliance with desired levels.
• Establishes effective communication with various groups to facilitate the on-time completion of products through monitoring and reporting order status from start to finish. Works with Customer Service department to respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Supports inventory management to minimize inventory errors and associated costs and inefficiencies. Prepares and maintains department specific reports regarding inventory levels, materials usage, order status, and other specific performance measures.
• Performs other duties as required.

What you have:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization and external business contacts.
• Good PC skills including MS Office Package, internet, and internal Company hardware and software. Accurate typing and data entry skills required.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. Ability to schedule and prioritize work, identifying potential problems and implementing solutions before they occur.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to facilitate the production of a large volume of high quality material with attention to detail.
