Location: 5505 Hopkins Bayview Circle, Baltimore, MD 21224

Shift: PRN, on call

Minimum of 2 weekend day a month required

The Physical Therapist - PRN provides evaluation, program planning and treatment of patients referred to Physical Therapy. Provides documentation and education to patients, families, hospital staff, and students. Participates in the enhancement of the profession, the facility, and one self by providing quality care, clinical research, and education. This ensures that all patients are helped to meet their maximum potential through the quality care and input to medical management provided by the Physical Therapist, and that the therapist continues his or her professional growth and development and contribution to the Medical Center.

Education:

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in physical therapy

Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.:

Current MD state licensure as a Physical Therapist

Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR

Work Experience:

One (1) - Two (2) years of post acute inpatient rehabilitation experience and/or post acute clinical affiliation placements preferred.

Knowledge/Skills:

• Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analysis, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross department/divisional lines.
• Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
