You have worked in an engineering role for at least 7 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

As a Principal BWR Reload Safety Analysis Engineer in Richland, WA, you will be part of the proven team in the Fuel Business Unit. Come join a team with a passion for Nuclear Science and Engineering and its application to solve the nuclear power industry's challenges of today and tomorrow. The Fuel Business Unit is responsible for a broad range of activities including engineering computer code development and maintenance, topical report development and submittals, and core design and subsequent neutronic, thermal hydraulic, and safety analyses as well as online core monitoring systems. The engineering activities are coordinated with other Framatome fuel engineering departments both locally and worldwide. Your work will include BWR fuel reload safety analysis activities and would be part of a greater team with overall responsibility for the cycle design and safety analysis and the fuel reload. This position requires occasional travel. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required.
Your Total Rewards PackageThe range of base salary for the position is between $121,000 - $164,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
