Job Title: PPM Benefits Specialist/HR Supervisor

Job Summary: MOR PPM, Inc. seeks a Specialist/HR Supervisor based out of the corporate office location in Society Hill, SC supporting the Human Resources function of benefit plan administration, reporting and day to day Supervisory tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing benefit eligibility, reporting and employee deductions for multiple locations.
  • Responsible for managing Leaves of Absence, FMLA, Disability and Life Insurance processes and claims.
  • Serves as the contact point for benefit related questions.
  • Serves as the contact point for between subsidiary MOR PPM, Inc. and parent company EMCOR Group, Inc.
  • Responsible for data integrity between various systems using Excel formulas/tasks, such as Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Macros, Filters, Queries and IF Statements.
  • Responsible for managing benefit eligible wage reporting, retirement plan match reporting and ensuring the data is accurate on a weekly basis with a definite deadline.
  • Responsible for providing audit documentation as required by SOX and ERISA.
  • Responsible for government required reporting such as DOL, Vets100, Vets100A, BLR and various other agencies.
  • Responsible for reviewing ACA (Affordable Care Act) eligibility.
  • Leads the Open Enrollment activities.
  • Act as a resource for field offices with data requests and technical tools related to HR/Benefit management.
  • May travel as necessary to job sites and assist with HR related activities.
  • Other duties as assigned or as project related.
Experience:
  • At least 3 years' experience in Human Resources is required.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Employee Benefit administration is required.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must be able to perform data reporting/data matching using Excel and working with formulas such as IFStatements, VLookup, Macros.
  • Must be able to perform data tasks in Excel such as Pivot Tables, Filters. Preferred experience with Macros & Queries in Excel.
  • Experience with programs such as O365, Adobe Pro, DocuSign, FTP transfer is required.
  • Must be able to multi-task and support various workforce groups.
  • Demonstrated success in team leadership, process adherence, ownership/commitment, learning agility and risk management
  • Strategic thinker who can establish and manage plans while building and fostering
  • Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal, and written communication and reasoning is required.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
  • This role may require the ability to travel estimated 10% of the time
  • The work schedule is 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with half hour lunch/ Monday-Friday. Candidate may be able to work alternative shift such as 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. This role is office based in Society Hill, SC.
  • Must be able to adhere to customer/job site requirements such as
    • Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
    • Must have full range of motion consistent with age
    • Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
    • Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
    • Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
    • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required at PPM job sites.
