Objectives of this Role:
- Perform statistical analysis on solar and climate data.
- Be part of educational programs involving students and citizen scientists.
- Apply machine learning to solve heliophysics problems.
- Write papers reporting progress and sharing results with community.
- Write grant proposals to secure further funding.
- Program in python to develop data processing and analysis routines.
- Meet regularly to discuss progress and integrate with the rest of the team.
- Write scientific papers.
- Present results in professional conferences.
- Requires a Ph in Physics, Heliophysics or Geophysics.
- 1 years: Post PhD experience working with data (ie: heliophysics, geophysics preferred)
Special Requirements:
Work assignment is in Boulder, Colorado. This is a 1 year limited term assignment.
Job Locations: Boulder, Colorado
Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00
