Your new role
As a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing plumbing and fire protection systems for a diverse range of commercial fit-out projects. You will collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to integrate these systems seamlessly into the overall project design. Preparing construction documents, and providing technical support during construction phases will be key responsibilities.
Additionally, you will ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards while optimizing system performance and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Proven experience in designing plumbing and fire protection systems for commercial or industrial projects
Strong knowledge of local plumbing and fire protection codes, regulations, and industry standards
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose innovative solutions
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients
Detail-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy-efficient strategies is a plus Knowledge of construction processes and on-site technical support experience
