Responsibilities

WellStar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified Surgical Critical Care physician to join a Dynamic Level 3 Trauma Center. Cobb is a 382-bed hospital located in Austell, GA, approximately 20 miles west of Atlanta. The surgeon will provide clinical care of trauma patients, those with critical surgical conditions as well as burn patients, and will be responsible for responding to trauma activations, taking trauma call and sharing emergency general surgery call in a rotation with the established 6 physician General surgery group at Cobb.

Qualifications

Candidate must be Board Certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery with plans to recertify when necessary. Experience preferred.
