Part-Time Physical Therapist to assist with our school-based program!

Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, a state of the art acute rehabilitation hospital located in Schenectady, NY and a member of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist with pediatric experience and experience working with adults to join its team of dedicated healthcare providers.

Our exceptional team of Physical Therapists at Sunnyview perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques, establishes, implements, and adapts an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency) and , documents accurately, completely, and timely.

We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist who can work 20 hours/week who will be flexible to work between our main Sunnyview Rehab Hospital campus and our school-based program (Head Start) for continued growth in both mileus. Flexibility, exceptional clinical reasoning skills, and excellent communication skills are essential.

For the Head Start program - hours would be school hours to travel to different Schenectady area schools to treat children in a school setting (fine motor delays; sensory issues, etc).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science or Master's degree
  • Current NYS PT license and registration
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred
