Job Info

You're not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Because we're out to create Better Care for a Better World, and that takes a certain kind of person and teams who care about making a difference. Here, you'll bring your professional expertise, talent, and drive to building and managing our portfolio of iconic, ground-breaking brands. As the Personal Care DtV Program Leader, you'll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.

In this important role, you'll coordinate the Personal Care Product Change Savings (DtV/Design to Value) for current and future years in order to meet business objectives. You'll collaborate broadly across the Personal Care organization with key customers internally -- PC Business Teams, PC R&E Product, Process, Materials teams, Supply Chain, Finance, GNW and Procurement. Beyond coordination of DtV activities for current and future years, you'll lead continuous improvement of our DtV and WAVE processes and best practices.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Own and communicate status of current and future years DtV forecast across the organization. Provide full disclosure on risk assumptions to ensure leadership alignment.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement activities as it relates to the Personal Care DtV process. Collaborate with other DtV resources across KCNA to adopt best practices and drive to a common approach.

  • Ensure accuracy of information in WAVE and other dashboards and scorecards through on-going collaboration with initiative owners.

  • Ensure a pipeline (~3 years) of cost savings ideas across product platforms and communicate the status of this pipeline to leadership. Lead coordination of DtV workshops to enable the 3-year pipeline and incorporate competitive information and material strategies into the DtV workshops.

  • Drive escalation and prioritization discussions to ensure future year DtV savings will deliver against business SBP's.

  • Understand the material savings opportunities by partnering the PC Materials Team, Procurement, GNW and Finance. Coordinate work with the DTV product leads through the Triangle teams and prioritization process.

  • When required, work with the various platforms to identify the top programs (least risky, strong savings) that could be accelerated to help leadership make decisions on gap closure, including a risk assessment.

  • Ensure that problems related to programs that could compromise the consumer experience, production or customer service are resolved in a timely manner. Escalate if programs are not being prioritized appropriately.

In this role, you'll report to R & E Senior Manager.

About You:

You're driven to perform at the highest level possible, and you appreciate a performance culture fueled by authentic caring. You want to be part of a company actively dedicated to sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, and career development.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, ideally in scientific or engineering discipline.

  • 7+ years' experience in R&E, Operations or technical functions.

  • Strong communication skills with leaders and team members.

  • Ability to influence leaders and team members across all levels of the R&E organization.

  • Demonstrated contagious positive energy to drive results.

  • Ability to provide work direction to team members not in a direct reporting relationship.

  • Demonstrated strengths in analysis, spreadsheets and project management.

  • Ability to travel less than 10%.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Personal Care Experience.

  • Understanding of Fuel to Grow and working knowledge of WAVE.

  • Product or Material Development Experience.

  • Experience in product or material cost analysis.
