RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a PBX Operator to join their team.Summary:The PBX Operator is responsible for multi-channel communications for multiple healthcare integrated delivery networks as well as appropriately using the overhead paging system and implementing medical emergency codes. This role will maintain professionalism while engaging with customers and performing appropriate service recovery to address patient concerns, as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED / equivalent is required
• Two years of experience as a Dispatcher, Communication Specialist, Customer Service Representative or similar position in a communication or dispatch center required
• 1-2 years of previous emergency experience
• Hospital experience preferred
• Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing while performing a variety of tasks
• Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and during emergency situations while reacting quickly to unexpected situations and/or emergencies
