RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, one of the world's largest financial institutions is seeking a team of Payments or C/Cobol &/or TAL NonStop Developers in Chicago (IL), Plano (TX), and Tampa (FL) with relocation packages and possible other sites we will consider.Key Tasks:- Payments or C/Cobol &/or TAL NonStop Developer will deliver quality code to integration testing, certification, and production environments
- Automates testing and deployments through CICD processes (plays QE role as necessary)
- Responsible for design, build and support of aligned application(s) or platform(s)
- As a Payments or C/Cobol &/or TAL NonStop Developer, you will own tech stories, participate in code reviews, and support production
- Design performant, efficient, effective, and reusable technical solutions
- Partner effectively with DevOps, Production Support, and peer platform teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering NonStop roles (C, TAL &/or Cobol)
- Experience with Enscribe, Pathway, DDL, SQL/MP
- Experience in payments processing
- Experience engineering OLTP applications
- Ability to clearly communicate with peers and senior leaders
- Experience in SQL/MX, OSS
- Experience building solutions in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Java
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
