PRMO:, established in 2001, Patient Revenue Management Organization (PRMO) is a fully integrated, centralized revenue cycle organization supporting all of Duke Health, including Duke University Hospital, Duke Regional Hospital, Duke Raleigh Hospital, the Private Diagnostic Clinic, and Duke PrimaryCare. The PRMO focuses on streamlining the revenue cycle through enhanced management of scheduling, registration, coding, HIM operations, billing, collections, cash management, and customer service. Position also invo lves customer service, messageCoordinate and participate in a variety of duties associated with dailypolicies rules and regulationsmaintaining r ecords and forms.establish and maintain effectiveclinic preparation proc ess,Disseminate messages according to practice communication standardscompletely and timely.Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing next day pati ents and completingpatient identification, patient check in/out, charge posting, cashothers. Report obtainedpatients. Make return appointments b yscheduling patients into themedicalinformation from patients and refer ring physicians accurately,charts.Check-in patient upon arrival in the p ractice.Enter pre-visit orders and prepare new patient charts. Pick up X -rays,encounter forms.reports, petty cash and collections bag. File history sheets, ancillaryIDX.on insurance plan.Prepare encounter forms. Inve stigate and account formissing encounter forms. Audit encounter forms fo rcompleteness andpreparation and referralspatient record documentation.R eturn medical records. Attachforms and obtain signature as required bypo licy and procedure.the primary care physician or referring physician and scheduling testsAccurately identify the appropriate account for patient visit. PresentIdentify correct patient information in IDX. Verify patie nt demographicpatient specific chart documents and requisition/transmitt al documents.private physician officedata. Edit IDX as needed.insurance cards as indicated by procedure. Coordinate allBatches encounter formsor charge posting inreports and all other requiredHIPPA/Medicare documents to theand written instructions, interacttactfully with customers andCop y, file and distributedistribution, ancillary scheduling andaccuracybefo re batching.labs/procedures as requested. Minimum Qualifications


Education

Work requires knowledge of basic grammar and mathematical principles normally acquired through high school education


Experience

Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and activities. providing service to patients or public; preferably in a healthcare related field. Experience in effectively coordinating multiple tasks or
