Schedule: Radiology Department. Part Time: 16 hours, Every Saturday & Sunday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

The Patient Coordinator under the direction of the modality supervisor, assists in the department workflow by scheduling Emergency and Inpatient exams, answering phones, preparing patient's for scans, phone screening, paging Radiologists and providers as needed and other related tasks. The Coordinator should be team orientated and comfortable with multi-tasking while maintaining quality, safety and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform clinical tasks utilizing EPIC to assist in safe patient scanning under the technologist's guidance
  • Makes screening phone calls for MR/CT exams and other procedures as required
  • Assist in Room turn-over.
  • Assist in safe patient transfer from stretcher to scanner table

Qualifications
  • High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred
  • BCLS preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to lift 25lbs
