Responsibilities

The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse on the Med Surg unit. Assist patients with their immediate needs such as washing, dressing and maintaining their hygiene. Some transporting duties as assigned .

Schedule: Night Shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am with Rotation)

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)

License and Certifications
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • CPI required within 3 months of hire date

Skills:
  • Excellent Communications Skills
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
