Position Summary
Assist with the acquisition and ordering of parts, work order creation, fuel management and inventory for the Southern Paving Shop/Fleet.
Responsibilities
- Filing
- Parts running
- Assist with end of month activities
- Pressure washing equipment as needed
- Shop clean-up and organization
- Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Other duties as required
- Ability to work independently / Self motivated
- Ability to prioritize conflicting demands
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, customers and vendors
- General understanding of construction equipment and industry
- Desire to advance within shop department
- Maintenance related experience preferred
- Colorado Driver's License with Clean Motor Vehicle Record
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
