Position Summary

University College is accepting applications for an individual who will support our Center for Professional Development (CPD) and Enrichment program operations. The CPD and Enrichment program teams are responsible for promoting engaging learning experiences for professional development and lifelong learning. This position will assist the CPD and Enrichment teams by engaging in activities to support operational program management, logistical planning, student experience, and instructor support. We are looking for a team member who is interested in working to support a high-quality learning experience for our students.

This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

Essential Duties

  • Logistical and operational program management
  • Prepare/manage course content and materials
  • Track course enrollments
  • Scheduling; including room and parking reservations
  • Utilize University of Denver software platforms in administration and delivery of programs, including back-end course creation, tracking of participant enrollment, payment, grading, and transcripts/CE records
  • Student Support
  • Student communication
  • Certificate creation and distribution
  • Assist with registering students
  • Course evaluations
  • Instructional support
  • Work with 3rd party partners
  • Communication with instructors regarding enrollment and course readiness
  • Prepare materials and information packets for instructors

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to work efficiently while juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong desire to learn and develop new competencies as needed
  • Ability to work well with others in a highly-collaborative and energetic work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Qualifications

  • Evidence of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Prior work experience in an office setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Tools, esp. Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Prior work experience in an educational setting

Hourly Range
The hourly range for the position is $21-23.

The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.
