Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

Crew will focus on steel tank projects Typical projects will involve rigging of staging,
abrasive blasting or media blasting to achieve a surface profile. Paint systems will be
applied over prepared surfaces. Projects may also involve repairs to the steel surfaces
and parts. These will be completed using industry recognized products for this
application.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use strong mechanical aptitude and must work well with others in a problem- solving atmosphere.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively.
• Must be willing and able to work from heights.
• Must be willing to follow safety rules and work instructions.

Qualifications

Education / Experience / Background

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Painting and Blasting experience
• Welding experience is a plus
• Containment experience
• 5 years blasting/painting experience a plus
• Experience with steel surface preparation and painting
• Knowledge of paint pumps and paint systems is a plus
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word/Excel and emailing is a plus
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and climb elevated heights
• Pay will be based on prevailing wages
