We are currently seeking applications to fill the following job opening at Asahi Kasei Bioprocess where we sell Planova® virus removal filters and develops and manufactures related bioprocess equipment.

Job Description:

Work with Production Manager - Columns, the Column Team, and/or independently to fulfill demand for parts and complete supporting documentation. Work to fulfill internal and external orders, as well as package and ship parts and equipment to customers. Create and maintain documentation for the department and customers. Work with Column Assembly Team and Quality Control to receive components for process equipment.

B. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.

Review orders in ERP (NAV). Issue material from Inventory to Jobs.

2.

Prepare parts orders for shipping (cleaning, wrapping, boxing and/or crating), including packing lists and other required shipping documentation.

3.

Maintaining minimum levels of Floor Stock items.

4.

Perform cycle counts of Inventory items.

5.

Maintain a clean and organized work space and shop area using 5S Methodology.

6.

Read and understand Engineering Bills of Material.

7.

Assist Documentation and Manufacturing with completion of turnover packages for new equipment.

8.

Assist QC with inspection of incoming components, including hoisting, cleaning to specifications, and completing Inspection Reports.

9.

Coordinate with Logistics to arrange crating/packaging and shipment of large parts orders and finished goods.

10.

Assist with assembly and testing of process equipment for pharmaceutical and bioprocess markets.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

• Order Fulfillment, Logistics, Receiving/Quality Control, Purchasing, Documentation, Order Entry, Engineering.

E. MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience in handling and managing parts inventory a plus.
• Experienced users of ERP systems considered major plus.
• Hands-on mechanical skills
• Familiarity with commonly-used tools

F. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
