Overview

Operate AGLC machine. Operator dumps stockings into bin. Machine, 1) picks up, orients and loads stockings to AGT machine, 2) performs slitting, gusset placement, sewing and transferring, 3) turns garment and loads on tubes and, 4) aligns toes, sews and asides garment to Inspect/Repair. Inspect/Repair inspects, classifies, repairs, reinstalls and reclassifies pantyhose production. Apply QPI principles and techniques effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain lot from storage and dump into bin.
  • Perform the following machine adjustments, repairs as required (Shaddock, Autoloader, AGT or Pair Closer):
  • Read diagnostic screen for instructions and clear jams (remove stockings) at the Shaddock, Autoloader, AGT or Pair Closer).
  • Re-thread broken sewing yarn.
  • Replace sewing yarn packages.
  • Replace gusset fabric rolls.
  • Reset follower.
  • Reset insertion/separations devices.
  • Change/replace label material rolls as required.
  • Observe garments for obvious defects and take appropriate actions.
  • Inspect/Repair duties:
  • Inspect garment for knitting, dyeing and/or sewing defects. Remove picks as necessary.
  • Classify garment as 1st quality, rework, re-dye, irregular or waste.
  • Repair all garments classified as rework.
  • Re-inspect and reclassify all repaired garments.
  • Record all quality, production and SPC data on appropriate forms.
  • Change sewing yarn, labels, gussets and re-thread sewing machine as required.
  • Meet all quality and quantity requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by supervision, such as move buggies to other areas of plant and get empty buggies.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of work area and machinery.


  • Qualifications

    Applicants must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.

    Must be able to pass Background Screening and Drug Test.
