The Operations Supervisor will be accountable for leading people, and owning production/packaging of this particular warehouse by assuring products, parts or supplies are shipped, distributed, received, packaged and stored, according to establish policies and procedures.

This position is located in Lebanon, IN and is a full time, first shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for managing people, setting direction, and deploying resources.
  • Leading experienced administrative, operative, technical and/or non-professional roles, focusing on team completion of assignments and routines
  • Accountable for meeting day-to-day and short-term targets by setting priorities for the team and ensuring task completion that impacts the immediate team
  • Taking action to keep track of and manage costs related to own work and that of the team.
  • Uses judgment to identify, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
  • Responsible for insuring the monitoring and the receipt of classification and storage of products, materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinating the creation and maintenance of the processes of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
  • Focusing resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various distribution processes and establishing critical metrics and benchmarks relating to warehouse planning/forecasting
  • Leading aspects of delivery and shipment of parts to ensure quality and prevention of back orders and safety concerns.
  • Ensuring proper record keeping within OSHA guidelines for Material Safety Data Sheets, Recordable injuries, and other requirements.
  • Developing risk assessment and contingency plans should demand exceed supply.
  • Participating in audit preparation, projects, and presentations.


The salary offered for this position will fall between $60,000 and $87,000 annually. (Actual salaries will vary and will be determined based on several factors including skill level, experience and qualifications for the role.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least two (2) years of front line warehouse leadership, production, or supervisor experience; OR
  • Associate's degree and at least five (5) years of front line warehouse leadership, production, or supervisor experience; OR
  • High School degree and at least ten (10) years offront line warehouse leadership, production, or supervisor experience
