SUMMARY

The Operations Program Manager manages multiple large initiatives or programs involving cross-functional teams that include business partners, functional partners, and technology partners. The Pre-owned business is growing and this role will be at the forefront of setting up and optimizing the trade in reverse supply chain.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

  • Ensure alignment of program/project with business and financial objectives
  • Partner with project stakeholders including Executives, IT Leadership and Business Sponsors on an ongoing basis.
  • Plan, schedule and track program milestones and deliverables.
  • Develop and deliver status updates, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations at the executive level.
  • Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project teams, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management, including contributing to the ongoing development of the project management and program management methodologies with the PMO areas.
  • Manage cross-functional projects that require engagement of multiple technology, delivery teams and business verticals
  • Able to manage and oversee 3rd Party vendors within projects to ensure successful completion of work
  • Overall responsibility for refurbishment business launches for GameStop product service as well as continuous improvement

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)

  • Bachelors with 3-5 years of related experience or Accredited Master's degree in industrial engineering discipline 1-2 years of related experience
  • At least three years of relevant experience as a program manager; experience in a fast-paced, consumer oriented, e-commerce retail environment preferred
  • Experience in trade-in, electronic device insurance or secondhand market operations is a strong plus
  • Additional requirements include the ability to thing strategically and implement tactically, a persistent attention to detail and a high level of comfort working with numbers.
