This position reports to the Manager, Operational Change Management and manages operational changes from vendors, clients, and internal sources. At the direction of the Manager, the position is responsible for managing changes through the Operational Change Management process. The Coordinator ensures changes are completed timely and completely. The Coordinator validates that the change has been reflected in applicable Risk and Control Matrices and in procedures and process maps.

Responsibilities:

Change Management

  • Acts as a representative of the Operational Change Management team, and as point person for operational change management, in client, vendor, and internal change request meetings and projects
  • Manages a change from intake through change impact analysis to implementation and testing with control partners
  • Communicates effectively with senior management and line level managers of business units impacted by changes and documenting changes
  • Responsible for oversight and reporting on operational changes to senior leadership
  • Works with Business Control Managers and business subject matter experts to ensure updates are made to RCSAs, policies, procedures, and process maps
  • Collaborates with Business Process Analyst team members to schedule and coordinate updates to process flows as a result of a change
  • Reviews and validates evidence that business functions have completed all items in action plans related to a change initiative
Risk Culture, Awareness, Communication, Education & Training
  • Works with Director to develop processes to educate, communicate, and train the business functions on the operational change management process and ensuring an understanding of how changes to process and procedures impact a business functions risk and control profile
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years business work experience preferably in banking or mortgage related work
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience interacting with management of all levels including executive leadership
  • A minimum of 5 years of Change Management experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Contract amendment/SOW change experience a plus
  • Proven track record of exercising discretion while handling confidential information and documents
  • Expert proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and projects and activities, and produce high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Exercise disciplined discretion while handling highly confidential materials
