Examples of Work
• Assists the public in person and over the phone with the issuance of permits, certificates, licenses and big game applications. Register hunters for Harvest Information Program, notification of draw status and answers questions per State Statutes, Regulations and Orders.
• Issues Lifetime Disabled Veteran Hunt/Fish/Fur and Lifetime Disabled Veteran Park Entry permits. Works as a liaison with the Veteran Service Center and customer to ensure permits are issued.
• Processes application forms and magazine subscription payments for new and renewing subscribers.
• Assist in preparation of Commission action sheets and updates to Administration regulations.
• Submits, reviews and mails lifetime permit brass plate orders.
• Notifies recipients of awarded Youth Lifetime Permits and reviews claim forms for accuracy.
• Inventories and orders, brochures, office supplies and products. Replenishes shelves upon receipt.
• Prepares fulfillment reports and prepare Park Permits and Aquatic Invasive Stamps for mailing. Verifies return mail addresses and issue permits for lost mail items.
• Processes applications and issues permits for special season Landowner Deer hunting permits.
• Analyze trends of revenues and expenditures, prepare monthly reports and identify anomalies.
• Assist in answering division and agency phones.
• Assist coworkers on collaborative projects involving detailed financial data
• Provides guidance to teammates on various form completion.
• Overnight Travel may be required.

Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of general accounting principles, policies, guidelines and general office procedures. Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills; apply agency guidelines and policies to financial transactions; compute and compile financial data involving the use of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages; operate personal computer and cash register, printer, copier, calculator, and telephone and lift and move up to 35 pound containers.
