Position Summary...

What you'll do...

• Supports assigned area by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, including accurate and competitive pricing, proper signage, and in-stock and inventory levels; budgeting and forecasting sales; and assessing economic trends and community needs.

• Provides administrative help and guidance to hourly associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs and complaints are addressed according to company guidelines and standards.

• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding hourly associates accountable ; monitoring asset protection and safety controls; maintaining quality assurance standards; managing safety and operational reviews; supporting the development of action plans to correct deficiencies; and providing insights on the execution of company programs and strategic initiatives.

• Supports the company's open-door policy by meeting with Associates and listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing company policies and procedures , and providing resolutions for associates; seeking out associate comments and concerns by meeting with associates in their work areas.

• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans; using the Open Door Policy; and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
