Your Role & Responsibilities

  • SUMMARY: The Network Analyst will play an important role in ensuring smooth day to day operations of the MAHLE network environment. Responsibilities will include advanced level support for network related activities in the North America region focusing primary on datacenter environment. These activities include the support of Datacenter Switches, Routing, Firewall, Load Balancer and other cabling infrastructure systems. This position will have a strong focus on the coordination of Datacenter network infrastructure with other datacenter team members.
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Work with other MAHLE IT Team members, vendors and business members to develop MAHLE Datacenter strategies, procedures and processes
  • Create and maintain procedures related to Datacenter and Network Activities
  • Install, Configure and support multiple network switching and routing components utilizing Cisco Technology using Nexus and ACI in a virtual datacenter conception
  • Install, Configure and support multiple network layers infrastructure based on standard industries and technology such as MPLS, Ethernet, TCP-IP , routing protocols like EIGRP and OSPF
  • Manage Network infrastructure related to switching and routing associated to a datacenter infrastructure including internal and external perimeters connectivity (internet, MPLS, cloud connectivity)
  • Provides top level support and direction for other IT team members
  • Remain abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements
  • Communicates frequently with International Peers providing direction and standards for MAHLE's Infrastructure
  • Interact with Shared Service Center personnel to ensure that activities are transferred and maintained
  • Potential frequent travel


Your Skills & Strengths
  • Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar is Required
  • 3 or more years of Network Analysis and Support in a true Data Center environment is Required
  • 2 or more years of Data Center/Data Center Management experience is Required
  • 2 or more years of Security and Firewall experience is Preferred
  • Knowledge of Physical and Virtual Server Infrastructure is a Plus
