Title: Associate System and Network Administrator
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Location: El Segundo, CA
• The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate System and Network Administrator to join our Space Systems Verification and Test team in El Segundo, CA.
• In this position, you'll contribute to a team responsible for the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments.

• The System and Network Administrator Functions support a 24/7-hour Test operation.
• This position is for the 4th shift.
• Various shifts, nights, weekends, and alternate shifts may be required to support program objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
• Provides Factory Floor support to multiple Programs; defining & documenting Test setups, Deploying Test Software & Configurations, Troubleshooting, communicating/coordinating program requests, and supporting requests from the team to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
• Develops, implements, and sustains tools that enable product security requirements.
• Utilizes agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statements of work.
• Develops and enhances system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.
• Configures and ensures the security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for the product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.
• This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
• This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5) with Polygraph, formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required), or requires a candidate to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• Current CompTIA Security+ Certification
• Experience in certifying Automated Test Controller (ATC) Server and Client
• Experience in Operating Systems: RedHat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS
• 2+ years of experience with network devices including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 8570 Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, etc.)
• Experience with vulnerability scanning
• Experience in Cyber Security
• Experience in Satellite Test And STE Operations Readiness
Education/experience
• Typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master).
• In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
