Project Overview:

The position requires a Full Stack developer, with a strong familiarity with .NET and Relational Databases. The current NIH Purchasing Online Tracking System (POTS) is in the process of an update to up modernize some legacy processes and database schemas. The successful applicant will work with the current team to help architect and solution new schemas, and microservice architecture, updating current stored procedures. This effort is currently funded for one year assisting the current team but may expand further as the system modernization plans begin to get implemented.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist current team with solution planning and architectural diagrams
• Provide system front-end re-design with AngularJS
• Assist in Refactoring DB, such as NIH Orders, to reduce transaction pressures
• Work with the current DBA team to develop an archive strategy for current POTS data
• Work with users and provide interface design skills; great communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and work well in a team environment
• Consult with end-users regarding problems in accessing the electronic records system
• Keep abreast of developments in document management and prepare support documentation and training materials for end-users
• Provide products and perform activities that are planned, developed, and implemented in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and processes
• Submit and check in deliverables and work products on a schedule that receive Government approval with no rework required
• Ability to assist cross-functional teams supporting other in house-built .NET applications.

RequiredSkills & Qualifications:

• Worked with .Net Core and AngularJS
• Experience with Angular material Bootstrap, CSS 3.0 and above HTML 5.0 6. Rest API, Web API and Webservices 7.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipeline process
• Working with SQL database like queries, stored procedures, SSIS, SQL packages and SQL Jobs
• Develop web services, maintain source code (preferable in AzureDevOps or Git)

RequiredEducation/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field and 5 years working experience in IT Software
• Must be oriented toward customer service and thoroughly trained and experienced in system development and support
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
