Summary

NASCAR is seeking a positive, motivated, organized individual looking to support one of the hardest driving sales teams in sports. The NASCAR Ticket Sales Team is tasked with driving ticket revenue across all NASCAR owned and operated business units. The National Ticket Sales Coordinator is a vital part of the team's success by helping to facilitate and execute many of the team's key functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Assist sales and service leadership team in executing tickets and revenue-generating initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for sales and service leadership team
  • Coordinate travel for sales team to event weekends
  • Facilitate initial conversations between Group Sales Director and prospective NASCAR University partners
  • Monitor, organize and track client gifting and items used as sales incentives as well as team apparel
  • Manage team meeting calendar and attend team and interdepartmental meetings as needed
  • Act as interdepartmental liaison to facilitate information sharing
  • Assist sales leadership in compiling reports and preparing presentations
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Participating in department efforts during select Race Day events include:
  • Coordinating sales team assignments
  • Execution of sales incentives

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a sales environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing or related field preferred
  • Previous CRM Platform experience
  • Distinguished in Excel
  • Coachable, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Distinguished verbal and written communicator
  • Passion for supporting the sales process
  • Flexibility in working extended hours when needed
Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend single instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

Proficient on Company-provided hardware and software.
