General Job description:
Install and maintain Electrical Equipment. A highly skilled position will support our operations efficiency through troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing equipment and processes. Utilize lean manufacturing processes to drive process improvement and improve uptime.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment.
• Lead root cause analysis for equipment failures
• Perform multi craft functions within current level of training and ability
• Install and maintain Electrical equipment
• Capable to program troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, servo drives/inverters (Siemens)
• Setup, tune and troubleshoot control loops

Essential Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or higher preferred
• Technical certification required, in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• 3+ years of mechanical/electrical background required
• 3 years of industrial mechanical work required.
• Must be able to read and interpret Electrical schematics.
• Must be able to modify schematics as changes are made to existing equipment.
• Must be able to work with outside OEM Technicians and learn systems from them.
• Must be able and willing to participate in specific product training as required.
• Must be able to use electrical test equipment DMM, Ammeter and Megger meter.

Nonessential Skills and Experience :
Experience with Siemens products would be a plus. Master, Micro master drives and Step 7 environments.
