Sarstedt, Inc., a leading manufacturer and distributor of laboratory consumables, medical devices and instruments, is looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician to join their Mold Maintenance Department. Hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm.
Job Summary
Responsible for performing preventative maintenance on molds, correcting mold defects, and completing required documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnoses and completes mold repairs in the Tool Shop and on the Production floor in accordance with the mold condition report.
- Performs preventative maintenance as required.
- Completes all required documents, including mold condition reports, mold spare parts report, and enters the date into the BDE system.
- Assists in training and directing Apprentices to meet production goals and learning objectives.
- Responsible for the care of mold components during all aspects of mold disassembly and assembly.
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Other duties may be assigned or apparent or required by management.
