Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinator at Behavioral Health Network!

The Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinator identifies the unique signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use in relation to children and adolescents for diagnostic accuracy. As a Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinator you will perform risk assessment specific to children, adolescents and families and identifies mobile and community based evaluation and intervention as predominant mode of service delivery. You will provide leadership by conducting supervision and co-facilitating monthly meetings. Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinators oversee quality measures and report back to Beacon Quality Manager. Evaluating reports and quality management of billing processes with the Administrative Director to ensure activities are billed correctly is part of the Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinator's tasks. You will be a liaison between BHN Crisis and Youth providers and will have working relationships with sub-acute services. The Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinator collaborates daily with the Hospital Coordinator regarding identified MCI qualified youth and oversees MC follow ups.

BHN's Crisis Program provides 24/7 front line response to individuals of all ages who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, regardless of insurance. BHN provides services on a mobile basis, including home and community-based settings or in an emergency department when needed.

The Mobile Crisis Intervention Coordinators at BHN have the following qualities:

  • Master's Degree from a clinical program OR a Doctorate in Psychology OR Social Work (required)
  • At least 5 years' experience in the mental health field, preferably in crisis intervention and meeting Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention Competency Standards.
  • At least 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Must be licensed and maintain licensures as a mental health professional.
  • Knowledge of grief and trauma, specific to children and adolescents.
  • Excellent clinical skills and the ability to provide solution focused, strengths based treatment to each individual, including connection to appropriate community resources.
