The Technology Development Program Supervisor provides leadership and technical guidance to a team of Technicians and Engineers dedicated to product development and innovation for our Advanced Materials business.

You Will Have the Opportunity To:

• Lead and manage the Technicians and Engineers, including ensuring work is assigned and completed, as scheduled. This requires making best use of team member skills and abilities, as well as supporting ongoing skill development.
• Interface with the Technology & Innovation and Operations teams to ensure alignment with business deliverables.
• Serve as key technical contact for strategic customers, communicating regularly with internal teams (Product Line management, Process Engineering, Quality, and Operations) and local Sales and Customer teams.
• Interpret data generated by Technology & Innovation and present to customers.
• Uphold all safety programs and procedures, ensuring team is aware of and adherent to safety practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Engineering or Chemistry. Master of Science or Ph.D. in Metallurgy or Materials Science is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a technical material environment. Expertise in PVD or sputtering target development is preferred, as is a solid understanding of metal properties and metal alloying.
• A minimum of three years of experience managing technical workers
• Demonstrated ability to successfully participate on technical design projects and teams. Experience working with semiconductor fabs and associated quality requirements is preferred.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment associated with metals and chemical manufacturing processes, including laboratory testers, microscopes, various hand and machine tools, furnaces and vacuum pumps is preferred.
• SAP experience, Six Sigma experience and design of experiments experience is preferred.
