Mental Health Therapist work primarily in a clinic, office or similar setting, provide direct mental health clinical assessment, treatment, and counseling to the severe and persistent mentally ill. Includes intake, some case management, and group and individual therapies to adult population. Substance abuse experience helpful.

Pay Range & Benefits:

• Mental Health Therapist II (Master's): $27.08/hr
• LCSW/LPC/LMFT: $30.91 - $31.41/hr
• Language Differential - $2.50/hr for bilingual proficiency in Spanish & ASL

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide assessments/problem identification, and crisis interventions to people seeking crisis services.
• Provide some case management and coordination services to consumers as needed.
• Assist consumers with psychological development, social development, and rehabilitation.
• Assess for mental health holds and create safety plans as needed.
• Make referrals to appropriate higher levels of care.
• Communicate with and help coordinate consumer's use of other Organization programs and outside community resources.
• Working with psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals, coordinate medication/medicinal needs of consumers with medical sources.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with Organization standards.
• Participate in team/WellPower meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
• Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Education:

Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or similar field. Current license as a LCSW/LPC/LMFT in the State of Colorado preferred.

Experience:

One year experience in mental health or human services preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with program supervision of students/volunteers as determined appropriate.
