MHS - Full time position in Neurotherapeutics (TMS/Esketamine Service) in Middleborough (Oak St.) Location

Our new Oak St. Neurotherapeutics location is looking for a full time Mental Health Specialist to work under the direction of the nursing staff to assist with and provide care for patients receiving TMS and Esketamine treatment in the pre-treatment, treatment and post-treatment areas. Additional responsibilities will include stocking of supplies; assisting clinical staff in the moving of patients between treatment areas; disinfection of recliners and other patient care equipment; greeting outpatients and directing family members ; assisting inpatient nursing staff with patient transfer and other activities as necessary in the TMS/Ketamine Suite; some fill-in clerical activities as needed. Orientation and training will take place on the Belmont campus and will require several weeks of travel to that location.

The ideal candidate will have some experience working with psychiatric patients and an interest in neuromodulation therapies.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Required. Bachelors degree preferred. Requires verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in collaboration with others. No experience required. One year patient care or related experience preferred, preferably in a psychiatric setting.

Employees are expected to remain awake and alert at all times on all shifts.

All employees must possess basic computer skills to use a variety of electronic or online systems for communication, clinical and administrative purposes.

Required to complete electronic medical records training, and demonstrate 80% accuracy on competency test within 30 days of hire.
