Job Description

(GPI)is seeking a Marketing Assistant/Coordinator to assist in the development and coordination of responses for RFP's/RFQ's in our Western New York branch offices. This position plays a key role in our success by working closely with Project Managers and Principals to develop win strategies and professional materials that communicate our qualifications and result in winning proposals. In addition, you will assist with program coordination and communication to facilitate information sharing and collaboration among the branch offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of proposals/qualifications packages including RFP compliance, content development, technical writing, graphic design, production, and delivery
  • Review RFP for proposal submission requirements to ensure all deadlines are met and the proposal package is complete
  • Creation/maintenance of resume and project profile templates
  • Prepare and manage proposals in coordination with project managers and administrative staff in all disciplines, including design and editing technical content
  • Assist with the production of marketing materials and collateral
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Provide administrative and project support for a variety of marketing programs for both internal and external communication
  • Establish & maintain positive relationships with co-workers, support and build others on the team and across disciplines/offices
  • Suggest new ideas and processes, stay informed of developments in practice areas, and view obstacles as opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, prior industry experience in civil engineering, architecture, or planning a plus
  • Attention to detail with great organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Demonstrated team-oriented behavior

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
