Position Summary

Building on centuries of pump design experience within ITT Industrial Process, PRO Services provides an array of services focused on reducing equipment total cost of ownership (TCO) and increasing plant output, including condition monitoring, predictive maintenance contracts, field service, engineered upgrades, inventory management, and overhauls for pumps and other rotating equipment.

In this role the Engineering Specialist will be responsible for the following:Assist shop with production/technical support, i.e. produce quotations from Vantage System and E-Prism, procure drawings from manufacturing divisions (WEIRD 1, ITT Drawing Vault), inside sales support; proof and/or write allworkscopes before releasing to shop or quotation.

Product CAD drawings to be transferred to machining resource internally and externally; develop this capability within the Pro Shop Division.

Capacity planning and scheduling of jobs, writing Purchase orders to procure parts for jobs, have the ability to open jobs, review PO from customer to make sure terms are correct, and answer questions from shop to help withproduction.

Help manage and maintain ESH program including processes and training.

Help manage and maintain ISO program requirements.
Essential Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities include:Handle quotation within published timelines.

Quote jobs including pricing in conjunction with Sales, Shop Superintendent, and Facility Manager

Produce drawings for parts manufacturing/repair

Update all shipment schedules to meet customer requirements

Serve as customer contact in conjunction with Sales.

Recommend upgrades, solve system problems, and support sales effort.

Support sales effort with technical assistance

Receive jobs. Enter and complete all required data for computer entry.

Provide shop production/engineering support.

Follow all jobs to ensure all buyouts and subcontracting work is received by due date. Negotiate with subcontractors and provide detailed specifications.

Monitor and ensure subcontractor quality

Communicate daily with Shop Superintendent and Facility Manger on the status of on-going jobs and quotes on projects. Follow ISO 9002, ITT Environmental, Safety, and Health guidelines and all other administrative functions as required.
Position Requirements

Education : Bachelor of Science Degree (Engineering preferred)Experience : Minimum 5-10 years engineering experience in manufacturing or production with limited CAD experience. Background in ESH and ISO preferredOther Skills/Knowledge/Experience : Autocad version 12 or later Strong knowledge of PC software Excellent communication skills Prior Supervisory/Management skills a plus Ability to prioritize work efficiently
