Position Overview

NPD is seeking a manager of Workplace collaboration tools fluent in Microsoft Office 365 collaboration technologies including but not limited to Sharepoint, Teams, One Drive and the office productivity suite. The role will be a combination of business analysis, project management, and hands-on technical support to manage and maintain the company's Office 365 tenants and related technologies worldwide

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage roadmap of services related to M365 collaboration tools and services.
  • Champion the adoption of Office 365 services as appropriate for our business units worldwide
  • Provide consultative services to business units regarding use of collaboration tools.
  • Provide consultative services to Senior Management on use of productivity and collaboration tools
  • Assist as needed in the formulation and creation of Office 365 SharePoint sites for domain users and external client access
  • Assist with the migration of workgroup data into the Office 365 cloud platform and Office 365 SharePoint
  • Work with Network operations to monitor and communicate to stakeholders the performance of the services.
  • Work with Sec-OPS, Platforms, and Support to assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services Administration and support for Office 365, Microsoft Exchange Online and SharePoint Online
  • Evaluate new features of M365 for potential adoption
  • Evaluate 3rd party plug-ins and applications for use and potential adoption.
  • Assist in the training of team members in the use of tools
  • Prioritize support and maintenance tasks in order to meet service level expectations
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of procedures is maintained, and system documentation and support processes are regularly reviewed.


Background/Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Progressive experience in a technical help desk, business analysis, or a customer service environment.
  • Office 365 administration experience
  • Experience with Azure AD and Exchange
  • In-depth and demonstrable experience in Office 365 SharePoint, MS teams, One Drive, and productivity toolsets
  • Microsoft certifications a plus (MCSE: Productivity Solutions Expert)
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems
