Are you our next Manager, IT Product Delivery - PI Historian?

We are currently seeking a Manager, IT Product Delivery to manage the successful design, delivery, and ongoing sustainment of Mosaic's PI Historian implementation.This role will work closely with Operations Technology leaders, Product Owners, IT Partners, third-party vendors, and other stakeholders to develop solutions based on business priorities. This is a key role within Mosaic as the company undergoes a digital transformation initiative to deliver global capabilities and visibility across a common set of platforms and applications.

What will you do?

Historian Solution Delivery

• Lead the delivery and design of complex Historian related projects across Mosaic that deliver value and empowerment to the business as well as foster an environment of continuous improvement
  
• Develop and maintain Historian Governance processes across Mosaic
  
• Facilitate Governance groups to ensure compliance to standards and evolution of standards as Mosaic's needs change
  
• Partner with PI stakeholders to define the Historian solution architecture across Mosaic and design complex solutions while consulting with supporting groups such as Information Security, Network Engineering, Infrastructure, and Field Services to drive consensus and approval
  
• Facilitate Agile team ceremonies and effectively guide team to achieve project goals
  
• Ensure Agile methodologies are being followed while influencing best practices, process improvements, and procedures
  
• Serve as the primary resource for any issues, roadblocks, and risks and hold responsibility for their resolution
  
• Effectively create and deliver presentations and reports to management team, communicating product and/or initiative status
  
• Work toward a balance between growing the agility required to achieve business objectives and ensuring the core IT functions are reliable, stable, and efficient
  

Stakeholder Interaction

• Build and maintain relationships with PI stakeholder groups and IT to develop a clear understanding of business needs; ensure cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs and responds with agility to changing business priorities
  
• Work and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and contacts to foster a business-oriented culture to ensure alignment between IT and the business functions and to directly contribute to Mosaic's goals and objectives
  

People Leadership

• Lead, develop and coach a team to continually improve IT and Operations capabilities necessary to increase performance of the organization
  
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, and the business
  
• Manage performance issues when necessary
  
• Work with employees on their career development plans
  
• Lead the team to adopt agile development methodologies to deliver required services to the business
  
• Foster a business-oriented culture and mindset within the assigned Application Delivery team driven by a continual service improvement approach
  

What will you need?

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Related Field
  
• Deep experience PI Administration, Engineering and/or Information Technology (Ideally 7+ years)
  
• Hands-on project experience in the design, development, and delivery of PI historian solutions (Ideally 5+ years)
  
• Prior experience leading a team with a focus on the delivery of Operations process solutions including new processes, new functions, and solutions (Ideally 3+ years)
  
• PI Historian Administration experience
  
• PI Asset Framework design and implementation experience
  
• Expeierience developing Pi Visions
  
• Experience in managing Enterprise-wide deployments
  
• Experience in Design of PI and PI AF Interfaces to Business systems and analytics tool
  
• A working knowledge of Network, Server, and Firewall configurations that align to modern process Network security approaches
  
• Proven experience in defining solution strategies, analyzing requirements, designing and prototyping solutions, defining testing requirements, defining support procedures, and implementing solutions
  
• Ability to provide oversight across multiple initiatives or projects
  
• Experience with an Agile operating model (preferably SAFe Agile using Jira and Jira Align)
  

Bonus points if you have:

• PI Historian Administration Certification(s)
  
• Experience in selection and implementation of custom, packaged, and SAAS solutions to support Operations efficiencies
  
• Experience with industrial technologies (OPC, Can Bus, Modbus, etc.)
  
• Experience using MS SQL
