ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Develop and maintain all budgets and standard costs for pricing and inventory evaluation of Russellville Camshaft Plant
• Maintain historical data and files in an accurate and timely manner
• Consolidate reporting for Russellville Camshaft Plant
• Report Financial Data for MAHLE Accounting Reporting System on a monthly basis
• Report and monitor production efficiencies and provide feedback to department managers.
• Manage the Cost Accounting and Controlling departments of Russellville Camshaft Plant.
• Maintain close communications with Product Line Corporate Controlling and Central Controlling for financial data.
• Develop and implement all Operational financial reporting; daily, weekly, monthly and annually for Russellville Camshaft Plant
• Provide a communication link between Controlling and Operations management.
• Provide financial feedback in periodic P & L meetings.
• Maintain close contact with all supervisor and managers relative to actual vs. budget performance of Russellville Camshaft Plant
• Maintain cost accounting standards in compliance with Corporate Guidelines.
• Reviews all allocations and accruals affecting monthly and annual performance.
• Reviews all product line and inter-company charges to maintain accurate statements.
• Provide guidance for financial performance of Russellville Camshaft Plant
• Track operations impact on Operating Results, Cash Flow, ROCE, and provide guidance for control.
• Prepare variance reports and review with responsible individuals.
• Assist the Facility Management in meeting financial goals through timely counseling.
• Conduct internal audits as necessary and implement changes as indicated.
• Maintain accurate physical accounting of plan assets through the coordinated efforts of the Operations Management.
• Provides financial assistance to the Inventory Management Program.
• Maintains the Continuous Improvement Incentive Program for the Operation.
• Formulates the annual economic plan for Russellville Camshaft Plant and measures results against the budget.
• Maintains the Cost Awareness Program reporting and recording activities for the Operation.
• Communicate to all Operational personnel the purpose of the program.
• Elicits ideas from and gives recognition to those who submit projects.
• Reviews all Cost Awareness Projects before submission.
• Monitors the preparation and submission of Capital Expenditure Requests.
• Analyzes the financial viability of submitted projects. (ROCE)
• As a key member of management, endorses all safety improvement initiatives and report and/or corrects hazardous conditions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
